About Anthony Therattil, MD
I chose Primary Care because I am passionate about guiding patients through the complexities of health and illness. I strive to understand everyone's lives so that we can help patients maintain a strong quality of life in agreement with their own beliefs and priorities. Having trained in New York City, Westchester and New Jersey, I have had the opportunity to see the diversity of people in the Tri-State area and hope to use those experiences to guide our patients at Weill-ÂÜÀòÉçÆƽâ°æ.
Dr. Therattil spent his formative years in Brooklyn and New Jersey. He went to Duke University where he studied Neuroscience and developed his interest for medicine. He attended medical school at New York Medical College and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital (Northwell Health) where he focused his training in Primary Care and was awarded the Lawrence Smith Award for contributions to Underserved Community Medicine. In addition to his passion for medicine, he also enjoys playing tennis, exploring the NYC culinary scene, spending time with family and cheering for the New York Knicks.
